Fundamentals of Frameworking

Length: 3 x 1 hour sessions

At the end of this course, students fundamentally improve the way that they approach solving cases and create frameworks. This session lays out how to tackle both standard and unconventional cases.  We offer tried-and-tested out-of-the-box learning techniques designed to maximize learning across diverse student backgrounds.

 

Session #1 – Foundations of Frameworking:

  • Structuring mindset shift – how we should think about and approach structuring / frameworking.
  • Key approaches to optimally creating frameworks.
  • Live in class exercises to drive home learnings.
  • Take Home Assignment: Fundamental frameworking series.

 

Session #2 – Classic Case Types:

  • World of frameworks – deep-dive into every major case type.
  • One sentence summary of every case type.
  • Live in class exercises to drive home learnings.
  • Take Home Assignment: Classic Case Prompts with a twist. Framework solutions provided in video format.

 

Session #3 – Unconventional / Non-Standard Case Types:

  • Unconventional frameworks – the key unconventional frameworks you can leverage to react to non-standard cases. Includes the „illegal“ buckets that you should never use.
  • Unconventional case prompts and answers – live practice on sample prompts with answers (frameworks) provided.
  • Take Home Assignment: Unconventional case prompts. Framework solutions provided in video format.
Case Interview Fundamentals

Length: 3 x 1 hour sessions

At the end of this course, students will have a clear pathway to networking, applying, and interviewing successfully. This session lays out optimal networking techniques, an outstanding resume and cover letter writing techniques. Fundamentals to frameworking and a crash course in market sizing are included as well.

 

Session #1 – Full Prep Success:

  • How to network optimally and how to prepare for case interviews effectively as possible (incl. daily/weekly prep plan).
  • Students are provided with a killer consulting resume template and walked through how to write an optimal resume.
  • Cover letter mass production techniques.

 

Session #2 – Classic Case Types:

  • World of frameworks – deep-dive into every major case type.
  • One sentence summary of every case type.
  • Live in class exercises to drive home learnings.

Is there a minimum or maximum size for the workshops / presentations?

There is no minimum or maximum number of atteendees. Regardless of the size we make the sessions as interactive as possible with students sharing their solutions and open questions encouraged throughout the session.

Do you offer bundle packages for universities interested in both the course and the presentations?

Absolutely! We already have contracts in place with a number of universities to provide full course access to their students and to come in during the recruiting season to run workshops.
